Anomalous & Spiritual Experiences

There are times when people go through experiences that feel outside the ordinary. These might include sightings of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP/UFO), encounters that feel paranormal, spiritual awakenings, unusual states of consciousness, or other events that challenge previous beliefs about reality.

Whatever the nature of the experience, the emotional impact can be significant.

Some people feel curiosity or wonder. Others experience fear, confusion, isolation, shame, or anxiety about speaking openly. It can be difficult to know where to turn, especially when you worry about being judged, dismissed, or misunderstood.

In therapy, the focus is not on proving or disproving what happened. It is on you, your emotional wellbeing, your sense of safety, and how the experience has affected your life, relationships, and mental health.

Unprocessed experiences of this kind can sometimes lead to:

  • Anxiety or hypervigilance

  • Disturbed sleep

  • Feelings of unreality or disorientation

  • Existential or spiritual questioning

  • Isolation or withdrawal

  • Trauma-related symptoms

As an integrative counsellor, I provide a grounded, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experience safely. Together we can work to:

  • Reduce distress and anxiety

  • Strengthen emotional stability

  • Process trauma responses

  • Integrate spiritual or existential questions

  • Rebuild a sense of coherence and safety

  • Restore confidence and connection

You do not have to make sense of everything alone.

Just because your experience may not fit easily into everyday conversation does not mean you do not deserve professional support.

If you would like to explore whether therapy feels like the right step, I offer a complimentary 15-minute call. This gives you space to ask questions and see if we feel like a good fit before committing to sessions.
